I graduated from UW-Parkside in Kenosha, WI in May of 2017. I was looking for new opportunities, but none presented themselves right away. I then worked at my local Ace Hardware for 5 months. In September of 2017 I received a note on Indeed from Alex Hogan with an opportunity at AMP for a sales role. I came in to interview with Ashley Fawkes, then followed by a shadow day with Taylor Ward. I knew this was the perfect fit for me. I started in a newly created role of an Account manager Support Specialist role where I worked with our customers directly to upgrade their programs and sell other locations. Going into the Spring of 2018 I transitioned into another newly created role of an Account Executive where I worked with OPTIMA customers that had been with us for 2+ Years. Going into September of 2019 I wanted to grow even further within the company. Becoming a Senior Account Manager had always been my biggest goal because I knew that would lead to new opportunities. I buckled down and did my work. I became a Senior Account Manager December 2019. Going into the new year of 2020 I was excited to help train new hires and present new sales over the phone. By April of 2020 I then accepted the role of an In Classroom Trainer. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with new hires within AMP to guide them to new opportunities. In our January 2020 company meeting I had received the “Evolver of the Year Award.” By setting BIG goals for myself I was able to double my sales from 2018 to 2019. My favorite quote, that might be a little cliche, is “She believed she could so she did.” Having high expectations for myself throughout my journey at AMP has lead me down a path that has helped me become not only a better sales representative, but a wonderful person outside of AMP. I enjoy the environment of the office, the people I work with, and what AMP stands for. We sell to help! Things I like to do on the side is play softball, being a nail technician, and binge watching Netflix shows!
